You may ask how I know there is a God. I would tell you I know there's a God like I know there is wind. Like the wind blowing on my face I can't see it but I feel it and know it's there. Also I can see how it is affecting other things around me. This is the best way I could describe it. Everything inside me tells me that He is real and His Spirit is inside me. I can feel Him and can see how He affects me and things around me. I hope you can say the same. The peace I have inside is awesome!

God in 5 easy lessons Wouldn't it be nice if in 5 easy lessons we could know all there is about God. The thing is it is pretty simple to know Him. We can know him through this one lesson. God created everything including us. He loves us like you love your child. He wants us with Him in Heaven so He gave us a way to be forgiven for sin the He despises. This happened through sacrifice. At one time to be cleansed of sin you had to make a sacrifice to God. This happened by killing a calf or goat and using their blood as a sacrifice taking our place essentially. God in his wisdom saw that this was not sustainable. He gave us Jesus as a perfect sacrifice. The blood He shed was for you and me so we could be free from sin once and for all. If the blood of a calf or goat could clean up certain things in our lives can you imagine how much better the blood of Jesus cleans us inside and out. This is our God. The one that loves you so much He sacrificed His Son so we could be forgiven. The bes...
If the Spirit of God dwells in us that believe, what is dwelling in those that don't? Maybe this explains why when nonbelievers hear a prayer or scripture they feel uncomfortable or even get mad. It's the evil in them that is fearful of the light. The goodness in believers is painful to the evil that dwells in nonbelievers. If this was not true nonbelievers would not care in the least what someone else believes. They have no reason to feel any emotions about it. Yet they do and I say it's because of the battle that goes on in their hearts between good and evil. This is proof that good and evil exist. And if good and evil exist so does the one that created it.
Hope You can live without food for a while. You can live without water for a while. But, if you don't have hope you will perish. If you have hope you can make it through just about anything. When hope ends, doubt, worry, depression, fear, and harmful thoughts take over. Life will happen but for those of us with hope move on with a good mindset. With a good attitude. Remember God is hope!
He has not forgotten you! How many of you are waiting for God right now? Sometimes we have to wait a long time. Waiting is one of the hardest things to do. While waiting we start doubting everything. We start questioning everything. Waiting time is not wasted time. What we should be doing is worshiping. And in our worship we must trust Him. There is a reason for this time of waiting. He has not forgotten you! He wants what's best for you! Trust and worship. The answers you have been waiting on will come.
You have tried everything to make you feel happy in your life. There is a reason why nothing works. Only Jesus can fill the emptiness you feel. Only He can give your life meaning and purpose. It may seem like nonsense to you now because of what the world is telling you but what do you have to lose by trying? Just close your eyes and bow your head. Ask Jesus to come into your life. Things will start to change. You may lose your old friends that hold your happiness back. You will want to make new friends that will support your new way of life. One of happiness. Try a few churches and plug in to the one you feel good about. You will know the one. If you do these things you will find happiness and your purpose in this world. You will...
I am no different than many of you. I struggle with knowing clear direction, if what I'm doing is what I'm supposed to be doing, doubt and confusion. (The devil is a liar!) I got some much needed confirmation this past weekend. In a soul searching time with old friends I got the assurance that I've needed. Good friends are like medicine to your soul. My friends confirmed that this headlifting as I call it that I do has value and is much needed. I am not trained or schooled for any of this as you can probably tell but I am full of the Holy Spirit, love people and want to share the "Good News" with as many as possible.
