This is a repost from 2021 Saturday (In a dark locked room the events of yesterday replay in Peter’s mind) I woke up this morning in disbelief of everything that happened yesterday. I am so ashamed that I didn't do anything to help Him. I can still see the nails being driven in his hands and feet. He suffered greatly! No man should go through that. I don’t know if they will come for the rest of us or not. I’m kind of lost right now. I don’t know what to do next. For the last three years I followed Him and saw so many miracles performed. I thought if He can do all that surely, He can save Himself. It was like He wanted to suffer like that. Like He had a mission or something. I should have fought for Him! But there were so many soldiers. Still I should have done something! I can’t believe I told Him I would lay down my life for Him and then I denied Him three times. I thought they would turn on me.  Are you ready? Suddenly two men appeared—in white robes! They said, “You Galileans!—why do you just stand here looking up at an empty sky? This very Jesus who was taken up from among you to heaven will come as certainly—and mysteriously—as he left.”   Acts 1:10-11
Mark 11:22-25  “Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you.
Steam Have you ever noticed how the steam from your coffee rises from your cup to disappear after mixing with the world around it? Our faith life is like that. We get full of the Spirit and are ready to take on the world but as soon as we mix with it, the world cools us off and there is nothing to see. Our steam has cooled because of the coldness around us. Today I pray for our faith life to always be hot. Let the warmth from it draw in others from the cold. Let it be soothing to the souls of others and us. Amen
