 If you went to a church and meet Jesus but it didn't change your life, you didn't meet Jesus you meet religion.

 The next time Satan reminds you of your past, remind him of your future in heaven.

 What He Sees When He Looks At You While watching a church service I noticed how I was looking at the singers on stage. Yes, I was judging them for their clothes, their hair, their tattoos etc. I know that is what many other people do also but it's still wrong to do. At that moment I wondered what God sees when he looks at us. I don't think he sees any of the things we would notice. He sees our soul. He sees the light we have inside us or the darkness. I pray that I can get to a place where my light is so bright that it lights up the whole building. And I pray that when I do see people, I see their light and not the other stuff. 

 Hard to do sometimes! 12 Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom,  13 because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.   James 2:12-13  NIV

 This spoke to me today as I have a problem getting mad when I see people believing things I know is wrong. I am like Peter and ready to fight to protect my way of life. 19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,  20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.   James 1:19-20 NIV

  How do people that don't believe in God make it in todays world? I see more and more people using drugs to get by. Pills for anxiety, depression, sleep and alertness. All this tells me that the one thing missing in their life is faith in God. Only God can fill the holes in your life. If you just believe in Him you will find a piece you have never known. A new way to look at things through His eyes. Joy will live in you. You will have a confidence in knowing that you may not have all the answers but you know He does. He loves you and wants the best for you. Just ask and He will come into your life. All your issues will suddenly feel smaller. You can turn them all over to God. You may have a guilt you carry. He will take all your sins and wipe them out because He paid the price for your forgiveness on the cross. When He was on the cross He was thinking of you and me. He loves us that much! He knew we could never get to heaven on our own but praise God He sacrificed Himself to give ...

 God will show up and take you through the fire again.

 Be careful when you find yourself judging others. I sometimes find myself judging others. It's easy to do now days. I suspect it always has been. Knowing this is wrong I have tried to train myself to recognize when this is happening and point my finger back at me. Who am I to judge anyone? I have enough to do just trying to keep my own self in line. Maybe I will start asking myself this question when starting to judge someone, "What is God putting this person through to cause them to act this way?" There behavior may be temporary as God may be working to get them to a better place. It may be the worst time in there lives and they may be a totally different person in just a few weeks. A person I would look up to. So I will keep my judging to one person - ME.

  What's your impossible? What miracle do you need? DON'T STOP PRAYING!

 Is the light in you? Ever notice sometimes when you meet someone and you can see there is a light in them. Something special. They have a personality that draws people to them. You feel good when around them. What is this that does this to a person and why doesn't everyone have it? It's the Holy Spirit. When God is in someone you can see it and feel it. They always seem to make you feel better being around them. You can have that same light. Just ask Jesus into your life and see the difference. When you get the light you will notice that people are attracted to you. They will probably have issues of some kind. They are looking for help. The darkness in them is drawn to your light like a bug to a light on a summer night. Use your wisdom to help them or the Spirit will give you the words to say. Healing words. Guiding words. Words of salvation.   Be the light!
