Why Have You Forgotten Me?

When Jesus was on the cross, at one point He asked God “Why have you forgotten me?” I believe God was letting the rest of us know that it’s all about His timing and not ours. If He even let His own Son that was dying on the cross think that He had forgotten about Him, who are we to complain about Him not hearing us? It’s not that He doesn’t hear or doesn’t care. Its about when the time is right. I have gotten mad at different times in my life when I felt He was not doing anything to help me in my despair. Sometimes when He is making us better, He allows us to get to a place where we have to let go of pride, fear, anger or shame to make room for Him. To make room for the better things ahead. To get our minds prepared for the rain coming. The rain of blessings. He hears you and you can count on the fact that He will always do what is best for you.
