We Belong Together

So much energy is spent on trying to be different than others. This divides us as is intended. Some have been sold on the idea of previous generations being this or that. The truth is we are all this or that. You can call a pig a kitten but sooner or later that kitten will find the mud. What if we spent that same energy on trying to not be the same but excepting everyone as they are? Respecting each other’s differences by looking for what we have in common. Understanding that everyone has a different history that determined who they are now. You weren’t there so who are you to judge? When people start putting labels on others, they are just trying to deflect people from seeing who they really are. Everyone makes mistakes! Everyone can be judged and found guilty. Remember people are individuals and should not be lumped into groups. You would be wrong to say all of those type people are like this or that. Take each person one by one and see if they are friend material. If you have any hate in your heart for a group or person you are the problem. You can fix this by realizing that you cannot fix anyone but yourself. I have found that most people will be nice to you if you are nice to them. Sad how the same people trying to cancel other people out are doing the very same thing that they claim the others did to deserve being canceled. One of the craziest things is saying that Christians are evil. Well guess what, we are all evil. At least most Christians are trying to be a positive influence on the world and not an instigator. They show love for others. They give time and money to help others. Their whole reason for being a Christian is to love others. Maybe it’s time for you to look at you. I mean the real you. Spend some quiet time alone and think about what is right. Who you want to be not what someone else is telling you, you should be? You get back what you put out in this world. That’s what the Bible means when it says “you reap what you sow”. Start showing love for all others and you will be amazed how nice most of the people will be. You will be blessed for doing it.
