Glorious Day

 

I see videos of kids that get surprised by one of their parents that has been gone on military duty for a year or so. When they see their mom or dad, they run to them and jump into their arms holding on like their life depended on it. This is what I think will happen when I see Jesus come back one day. No matter if I'm dead or alive at the time when He calls me, I will RUN to Him!

 

16For the Lord himself will appear with the declaration of victory, the shout of an archangel, and the trumpet blast of God. He will descend from the heavenly realm and command those who are dead in Christ to rise first. 17Then we who are alive will join them, transported together in clouds to have an encounter with the Lord in the air and we will be forever joined with the Lord. 18So encourage one another with these truths.
