“Dedicated to the Lord.” When God was giving Moses instructions as to how He wanted the Tabernacle, Priest and everything to do with it He was very specific. At one point He told them to make a pure gold piece of jewelry to be worn on Aron’s turban that said “Dedicated to the Lord”. After reading this I could not help but stop and think on that phrase. I wondered am I dedicated to the Lord? What does that look like in today’s world? I read the word every day. I pray every day pretty much. I claim to be a Christian. But am I dedicated? Dedicated in the Meriam Webster dictionary means you are devoted to a cause, idea, person or purpose. Devoted means you have strong affection or attachment to someone or something. So, I took a close look at myself to see if I meet the definition of being dedicated to the Lord. He is the first thing I think about most days and read about to learn more about Him. I listen to music that is about Him. I spend most Sunday’s worshiping Him. ...
Have you decided yet? Have you decided if you are going to be what you are now or what God intended for you to be?
If you were compelled to come here today, you are blessed because God is working in your life. He is trying to get you to a certain place. He wants you to be better! Let His Spirit guide you. Listen for His voice. Know that you are chosen and blessed. He loves you!
                                                             You can't disappoint God!
God doesn't care who you were, only who you are now.
Once again, I find myself at the end of reading the Bible. I asked myself now what? Quickly, the answer came to mind. Read it again! Then again and again. We spend tens of thousands of dollars on education and years learning about things on this earth in which we spend a short amount of time. The Bible answers every question we have. Gives direction and meaning. Not only for now but for all time. Read it every day. Read different versions. Educate yourself on what is the most important thing there is. The last thing that I read said “Yes I am coming quickly”. Think about that for a minute. Are you ready if He does?
