Prayer

Prayer should be more about telling and less about asking. I get so caught up in making sure I pray for people that need help that sometimes I forget to acknowledge God’s greatness. I’m not saying to stop praying for others. It is important and it works. Sometimes I need to stop and just be with Him in prayer. Tell Him how I feel about what He has done for me and show my appreciation for the sacrifice Jesus made that will allow me to continue living in a very special place. I could never make it on my own! He has given us the Bible to keep us grounded and on course. Every word a precious gift. If He had only died on the cross for us, it would be more than we could ever repay. But He wants to continue to give us the best of things. Thing’s money can’t buy. I don’t know why we are not all on our knee’s all day long praying and praising Him. I guess if we were made that way, He would not have had to sacrifice His life for us to be able to get to heaven.
