Prayer Just read a study on prayer. It stated several triple blind studies done on prayer. The results were varied but the one that stuck out to me said that the majority of patents being prayed for and did not know it did better than the patients that were not prayed for. I believe prayer works. I have seen it work. Does it always go the way we want? NO. It did not stop my sister from dying from cancer. I prayed as hard as I knew how to for her. I think maybe praying is for the person doing it as much as the one being prayed for. It gives us the satisfaction that we are doing something to help. I don't understand why prayer works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't but I know I will find out one day! Will you?

Is There An Empty Chair At Your Table? If you live long enough you will experience the loss of a loved one. It is part of life. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t crush you inside. What do you do when this happens? Well, it’s a process you have to go through. They say there is five steps you have to go through. They are Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. There is no time table for this to happen either. It takes as long as it takes. When you are around someone that has lost a loved one, we tend to avoid the subject of death like maybe if we don’t talk about it they won’t remember it happened. I say just talk like you would to anybody else. Make their time with you real and if they get upset over something said it’s just the healing process and be sure to let them know you will always be there if they need to talk. If they want to talk that means they want you to listen to them talk. It’s best to not say a whole lot because what can you say anyway? I have t...

When I see a word or phrase over and over again I start paying attention and see what God is trying to tell me. The phrase I have been seeing over and over is " It's not too late ". I realize with some anxiety that I have waited very late in life to start my ministry/purpose work. I wish I had started sooner. It was not the right time for me until now. You may feel like it's too late for you on something you have been wanting to do or start. I assure you it is not. God would tell you this same message and possibly has been telling you that but you did not realize it. Go for your dreams. Go for your passion. There are people places and things that only you can touch. IT"S NOT TOO LATE!

“It takes a long time for a man to know who he is.” I have found that to be true. You think you know, but when life happens, it brings things out of you that you were not aware existed. Circumstances change, and you experience a season where you find out things about yourself you didn’t know at all. Losses and failures; sickness and disappointment – all reshape and rearrange your narrative of how you see yourself. This is not gender specific; everyone is evolving, becoming; you are not finished yet . It takes a lifetime to really know yourself. That is the scary thing about life and relationships…God is not finished with any of us. T.D. Jakes
