 Try This Today Start your day with a short video on YouTube. One good place to look for a positive message is called Above Inspiration. These short 5-10 minute videos will put you in a positive mindset for the day. Try this or something like this every morning and you will find that your day goes much better.  Repair The Damage When you get home after a long day you need to repair the damage. The enemy has been pounding you all day long through other people, situations, what you hear, what you see and what you think. You need to repair your mind and spirit. The way to do that is to take a few minutes and turn everything off. Sit in a comfortable chair and clear your mind. Close your eyes and take a deep breath through your nose and very slowly let it out through your mouth. Do this three to five times and you will feel the stress being released from your body. Think on the good things in your life and be thankful. This will release feel good hormones and you will feel better. Now that you have taken control of your feelings remember God is strong and He wants you strong. He is with you always. How can we feel bad when we have God with us always? Use the gifts He gave you to repair the damage every day.

   Jesus got mad. Jesus  experienced the pain of betrayal. He cried out with the sting of loneliness and what seemed like abandonment when His Father turned away from Him on the cross. It’s okay to be disappointed, to feel anger, to not understand and have no idea how to make things right.  Give it to Jesus. He understands and wants to help.

  When God sees you neglecting today, He won’t give you tomorrow.

Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an  indispensable  weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

  The Lord bless you and keep you.  Make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.  Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.  Amen A blessing for all of you that come here looking for ....

Why does the enemy work so hard to keep you in an insecure mindset? He knows your potential and is afraid of the powerful things you will do if he can’t keep you down. There is something in you that if unleashed would change the world. You have everything you need in you to do great things right now.   You simply have to believe it.

  Learn a Life of Love   Learn a life of love. Find that good person. The one that is setting a good example of how to love everybody. Emulate them. Do what they do. The world teaches hate. It’s on every TV station and the internet. Rise above that. Find the good, the truth. There is good in everyone. You just have to look for it. What you look for you will find. Reach out to it. It will reach out to you too. When all else fails just love!

 Let everything you do and say be designed to bring the best out of your spouse. 

 Lead a life worthy of your calling.  You have been called by God.

 I have been very successful in being sin free. Now I'll get out of bed and make some coffee.

  When we stop moving forward in faith we never stay right there. Because of the world we always start sliding backward. Never stop doing the things that keep us close to God.
