The Helper

When talking to nonbelievers they always say "I do all the things you do. I follow the ten commandments, but I just don't believe in Jesus. I say that's great but what you don't know about and have not experienced is the helper. The Holy Spirit. This is reserved for the believers only. He comes into your life when you give your life to God. He guides you and directs you if you listen for His small still voice. It is not a voice that is heard out loud, but He speaks to you in your thoughts. Tells you things like help this person or that person. He is that someone that is looking out for you when things happen. A good example of this is when a man we will call him Mr. C, that lives in the town I live in was going down the road, he got an urge to pick up a young Mexican man that was walking down the road. This young man had been into drugs and crime most of his life. On this day the young man was considering suicide. He had just said out loud God if you are there show yourself to me. About that time Mr. C stopped and asked if he would come with him for some help. The young man got into the car, and it changed his life forever. That young man is now a pastor and owns his own restaurant. That is what listening to the Holy Spirit will do for you. There are millions of stories like this. What will your story be?
