 Is God knocking at your door? Have you been feeling like something is just not right? Like your life is missing something? You have no satisfaction with anything. Your happiness is gone. I bet if you think about it you have been getting messages or hints and you have ignored them. Start paying attention to these messages and hints. It is God knocking at your door. He loves you and wants to have a relationship with you. He can change your world! He can give you joy that can't be taken away. He can give you peace. The fact that you are getting His attention shows His love for you. And shows you that He is REAL. Open the door and you will see for yourself how much your life can change for the better. 

  The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith.  

 If our prayer life is week, our Christian life is week.

 Just because we don't see it doesn't mean God is not working on your life.

 Hope seems to be hidden There have been a couple of times in my life when God seemed to be far away. The prayers I said seemed to not have someone on the other end. It's a very lonely feeling. It's hard to have hope if you think God has turned away from you. The truth is silence is a way He teaches us to trust Him. Also, it's at that point when you think you have made God mad enough to walk away from you, you realize how much you need Him. He said He would never leave us or forsake us. So, it doesn't matter what you feel or think, He is hearing your prayers. And, He already has things in motion to get you out of your situation. With this being said it only seems hope is hidden. 

 There is more to life than just what we can see.

 All things are possible for God! Sickness Finances Relationships Loneliness Shame Fear Anger All things are possible for God!

  I   waited  and  waited  and  waited  for God. At last he looked; finally he listened. He lifted me out of the ditch, pulled me from deep mud. He stood me up on a solid rock to make sure  I  wouldn’t slip.     Psalms 40:1 MSG I have posted this before but felt the need to do it again today. Whoever this is for I hope you are blessed.

 2 Peter 1: 5-9 So don’t lose a minute in building on what you’ve been given, complementing your basic faith with good character, spiritual understanding, alert discipline, passionate patience, reverent wonder, warm friendliness, and generous love , each dimension fitting into and developing the others. With these qualities active and growing in your lives, no grass will grow under your feet, no day will pass without its reward as you mature in your experience of our Master Jesus. Without these qualities you can’t see what’s right before you, oblivious that your old sinful life has been wiped off the books.

Boldness Unless you are in a country that hurts Christians, people need to know you love Jesus. Boldness releases God's miracles. Don't be harsh, judgmental, or mean-spirited but be bold. If you knew about the best thing in the world, would you not tell everyone you could? You do and His name is Jesus. This world needs Him so bad. The devil is working non-stop to convince people that there is no God or a devil. The devil works non-stop to make you timid, insecure, and scared to say anything. You know deep in your soul that God is real and Jesus was a real man that died and rose again so we could make it to heaven. We could never make it on our own and that is why He had to make such a tremendous sacrifice. He saved us! The least we could do is tell people about Him. Be BOLD!

 Cultivate Good In 1 Peter the Bible says to snub evil and cultivate good. This got me thinking about how do we cultivate good? According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary cultivating means to come to have gradually by absorbing, adopting, embracing, gaining, attaining, achieving, fostering, and nourishing. So, It looks like we need to absorb good things like sunshine and good thoughts, adopt good habits like reading the Bible daily, embrace Jesus as your Lord and Savior, gain knowledge of the Bible, attain a reputation for doing good, achieve control of your tongue, foster others that need help and nourish everyone around you with love and positive words. These things will cultivate good. If you do these things, you will have a life worth embracing.   This is the reason this blog exists.   It was a cool partly cloudy day just like many others. I was at the office where I had been working with a friend in the real estate business. People would come and go all day to either pay rent or see about a place to rent. On this particular day I met a young black man that was there for a meeting with my friend that owned the business. While he was waiting to go in, we struck up a conversation. (I mention his race only because I am a white man from Mississippi,  and he obviously saw no bias in me. We were just two men talking. That’s a beautiful thing!) This guy was a go-getter I could tell. Probably there for knowledge on investing or wanting to do some deals with my friend. After he got out of the meeting, we were both leaving,  and we started talking a bit more in the parking lot. I don’t remember what it was we were talking about but all of a sudden, he stops talking and looks me straight in the eye, and   s...

 My wife and I have been under attack for the last week. Nighttime seems to be the worst. One night as we lay in bed trying to go to sleep, she asked me why I was walking around. I thought she was dreaming and said what? She did not answer but told me the next morning that she heard someone walking around to her side of the bed and was standing there looking at her. At first, she thought it was me but then she realized it was the devil because she could feel the evil. We have both had a hard time sleeping. I believe this has come about because I have been making good progress with my ministry and we are in a good place spiritually. I also have attacked the devil in writing lately and I guess he wants revenge. Be very careful of what you do, what you say, what you hear, what you see and what you think. The devil is looking for any opportunity to attack you.  I figure I must be doing something right if it bothers the devil that much. There is power in the name Jesus. Use it when...
