Get Your Life Together

 

Do you know somebody that needs to get their life together?  What does that mean exactly? I have had times in my life when I thought I need to get my life together. I think it means they have no real direction or purpose. If that is the case, how do they find their direction and purpose? I found these steps always got me back on track or at least put me on the right track. If you feel like you are stuck or know someone that is, trying these steps could change your life or the one you know that needs help. These are in no particular order.

 

1.      Start with some basics like getting some sunshine.

2.      Spend time in meditation and prayer every day.

3.      Exercise even if it’s just walking.

4.      Stop watching TV for a day or two. If something important happens I promise you will hear about it.

5.      Take a multivitamin before bed. Take vitamin B especially.

6.      Read a book on something new.

7.      Listen to a podcast on motivation.

8.      Read your Bible. If you don’t have one get the free app.

9.      Do something for someone else no matter how small of a thing it is.

10.   Make your bed every day. It will start your day with an accomplishment and give you a little satisfaction.

11.   Start thinking that you are getting better, smarter, happier, successful, blessed, etc.! Use the power of your mind to help propel you forward.

12.   Write this on your bathroom mirror.   

PSALMS 40

1-3I waited and waited and waited for God.

At last, he looked; finally, he listened.

He lifted me out of the ditch,

pulled me from deep mud.

He stood me up on a solid rock

to make sure I wouldn’t slip.

 

I’m Getting Better

 

Look at this every time you are in there and read it. Don’t just read it BELIEVE IT!
