  The one light you have in a dark time. JESUS

Mentor's  There are a lot of people that will give you advise but find someone that will share their life with you.  

 This spoke to me today. 11 Anyone who claims to live in God’s light and hates a brother or sister is still in the dark. It’s the person who loves brother and sister who dwells in God’s light and doesn’t block the light from others. But whoever hates is still in the dark, stumbles around in the dark, doesn’t know which end is up, blinded by the darkness. 1 John 2:11 MSG It is easy to hate in today's world. If you watch TV or read social media they actually seem to encourage it. It's like someone wants us all to be against each other. We must remember Jesus said "Above all else love one another". He also said" Love your neighbor as you love yourself". All this is easy to say but hard to do I know. Especially when we are being targeted. When it has become the norm to say the truth is what is opposite of what is true. My first instinct is to want to fight. To rise up against these people that are rising up against us.  It never fails It never fails when I don't go to church or do my daily devotion/Bible reading, I start changing. The kinder softer hearted me starts to become a frustrated, short tempered, less loving type of man. A type man I don't want to be. I have only missed two weeks of church and a couple days of not reading my bible and I can see the evil start creeping back in me. It's so important that we stay in the word every day. That we think on good things. That we look for ways to be a blessing to others. We need to be around other believers for support. We need to realize who's world we are in. Thank God I know the one that has conquered the world and loves me no matter what. I pray I always stay close to you Lord and You to me.

  I have not posted in a few days because we have been celebrating the arrival of our first grandchild. Thank you for understanding.

  Get Serious    It's time to get serious with your faith. It's time to get serious with your health. It's time to get serious with your marriage. It's time to serious with your life! You know what changes need to be made so do it.  Stop playing around before it's too late.
