The Well

Just like the old timey wells that you had to keep pumping the handle to get water to flow. If you stopped, you had to start over and keep pumping if you wanted more water. I find my faith life is kind of the same. If I don't keep doing the things every day to keep the water going, it will backslide and I have to work harder to get it back on track. It's a lot easier to maintain if you do the things that produce the flow like read my Bible, listen to gospel music and listen to good sermons.  The Devil is real and tries non stop to dry you up. Never stop working that pump!
