Spirit of Fear

We all have moments of being afraid. But, a spirit of fear is different. It means you worry about everything all the time. Growing up I remember my mom always worried about things. She would say as much. Later she had a stroke, high blood pressure, leukemia and heart issues. Did the worry bring all this on? I don’t know for sure but I believe it was a contributing factor. Many times, in the bible it says to NOT WORRY. In fact, it says that if you are a believer you should refuse to worry. We have God and that is enough! If you don’t get this you may want to reevaluate things and get a better perspective. God is all powerful and knowing so He knows what you are dealing with and what you will deal with. He also sees the outcome. If He says don’t worry, how can I argue that? Yes, I know people go through some serious things and have good cause to worry. I have been there. I also know that worry won’t change anything as well. Try this. If there is something you are worried about and you have no control over the outcome. Give it to God. Pray for the good outcome but let God take care of it. You will find that your life will get better. Choose to not worry. Refuse to worry!
