God Will Show Up-

Not when you want. Not when you think you need Him to but when the time is right God will show up. Yes, He knows what you are going through. He is listening. He cares. He needs you to be a better person so He lets you go through things that bring you closer to Him. He wants you to lean on Him for guidance and advice. When you have rid yourself of all selfishness, arrogance, anger, shame and hate you have made room for Him to do great things in you. Some of us walk around with passed issues that act like a ball and chain. It holds us back from being free to be happy, move on and live the joyful life God wants us to live. What are you dragging around? I know it was serious. I know it took your breath away. I know it changed your life but it is time to give yourself permission to be happy again.  That does not mean to act like it never happened. It just means that you acknowledge it did but decide to break free from the hold it has on you. You ask why do we have to go through things that hurt so bad? I can only speculate as to why but I feel that it is the final destination for us is so awesome that it makes the troubles here pale in comparison. I think when we get to heaven, we will understand everything.  Remember when all hope is lost is where God hangs out. That’s where He takes over. He didn’t promise we would not have troubles in this life but He did promise He would be there when we do. God is a chain breaker! Ask Him to take away those chains and set you free. Free to live a happier life knowing that one day we will understand it all. That what lies ahead is so much better than what’s behind us. He knows when you are ready for His help. His timing is perfect. If you have been waiting for God to show up just know He never left you. If you have been praying for a specific problem and feel like you are not being heard next time you pray just say Lord I am still here. Still praying to you knowing you are my God and my Savior. You love me no matter what I’ve done. You have forgiven me for all my sins and I know you want me to be completely happy and enjoy what time I have left here. If you have forgiven me Lord who am I to not do the same. So, right now I give myself permission to be happy and being happy I will look to help others that have gone through what I have. I am free!
