#1 Read Post Deep Heaven- It says in Ephesians 1:20 MSG that Christ was raised from the dead and set on a throne in "deep heaven". Today I know you are in deep heaven with Him. You hurt for months trying to get better. Your last days were hard. I can’t imagine the pain you were in. You were a fighter because the cancer that you originally had is not what killed you. My prayers changed from asking for complete healing to please give you a day with no pain to please take her lord. He answered my prayer and you went to deep heaven last night. I can picture in my mind the reunion you had with mom and dad. You were my rock! I will miss our conversations. I will miss your fried chicken during the holidays and the stories you would tell about mom and dad before I was born. Because of their ages you were more of a grandmother to my kids because your house was the special place, we all gathered for Christmas. You always put others first and helped us out when we needed it. Oh, if I...
#2   Air It Out - On New Year’s Eve at midnight, I wanted to make sure that 2020 was gone for good so I opened up all the doors and windows to let the 2020 air out of the house and 2021 air in. I could feel the breeze moving through the house and pictured all the bad stuff floating out with it. A little superstitious I know but that’s how bad it’s been.   In 2020 I lost my sister to cancer and friends to COVID. I watched on TV the worst come out of people in this country. Got hurt for the first time in my life and spent three months on the sofa. Yes, I’m glad to see 2020 gone! It got me to thinking though. Maybe I need to do the same thing with my mind. Open everything up let the bad out and the good in. It’s amazing the trash we collect in our minds. So, I prayed that God would remove the bad and fill me with the Holy Spirit. A new year is for new beginnings. The person you have been you can do away with right now. You can choose to let go of things like anger, hate, fear an...
#3   God Will Show Up- Not when you want. Not when you think you need Him to but when the time is right God will show up. Yes, He knows what you are going through. He is listening. He cares. He needs you to be a better person so He lets you go through things that bring you closer to Him. He wants you to lean on Him for guidance and advice. When you have rid yourself of all selfishness, arrogance, anger, shame and hate you have made room for Him to do great things in you. Some of us walk around with passed issues that act like a ball and chain. It holds us back from being free to be happy, move on and live the joyful life God wants us to live. What are you dragging around? I know it was serious. I know it took your breath away. I know it changed your life but it is time to give yourself permission to be happy again.    That does not mean to act like it never happened. It just means that you acknowledge it did but decide to break free from the hold it has on you. You ...

#5 Are you a better person today than you were yesterday? I am not perfect nor will I ever be but I try to get just a little better each day. What does that look like? Well, it may be just making one small better decision today than you did yesterday. Like parking farther away from the store you are at so you have to walk more or choosing to eat the baked chicken instead of the fried. Maybe it’s taking time to read something that inspires you or teaches you something new. Maybe it’s getting on your knees for the first time in a long while or ever. For some of you deciding to smile and be kind to other people is a good idea. None of these are life changing in themselves but all done over a long period of time will be life changing. When you greet someone today and they ask how you are say “I’m Getting Better”. Write it on your bathroom mirror and say it to yourself every day. If you do this, a year from now when you look back you will be amazed at the difference in you. You will be...
#6 Who Treated You That Way- Who treated you the way you treat others? It’s not something you were born with. It’s a learned behavior. How did it make you feel when you were the one being treated that way? Yes, that’s how it makes people feel that you treat that way now. You have the power to stop. It was wrong when it happened to you and it’s wrong for you to do it too. Drop this thing that was poured on you with out your permission. When you feel yourself starting to go down that road switch to thinking of something you are thankful for like the people that love you despite this behavior. It’s a selfish behavior. Put others first. If you do this you will find an abundance of happiness. Don’t leave a legacy of doing this. Don’t be remembered for that! Be remembered for being the one that broke free from it and healed those wounds that was created. If you like what you read here please click follow.  #7   I can't tell you why you're walking through this valley I can't tell you just how long you've got to stay I can't tell you why your heart feels so unsettled Or when this all will change But I can tell you there is something you can lean on It's a promise that won't bend and it won't break It will keep you when the future isn't certain you're not out of grace When the darkness overwhelms you, and the fear just won't subside When your questions out weigh answers, on those long and lonely nights When you've got to keep on moving, He is with you in the valley of despair and He won't leave you there He is with you when you think you just won't make it and He is right there when it looks like hope is lost You're gonna find out He's nothing less than faithful So keep holing on, keep holding on When the darkness overwhelms you, and the fear just won't subside When your questions out weigh answers, on those long and lonel...
#8 As I Went Toward The Light As I went toward the light, I could tell I was moving but not walking like I used to. I went through a gate of the most magnificent peal I had ever seen. All of a sudden, I could feel arms being put around me and a hug of all hugs was taking place. I didn’t have to look I just knew it was my Mom. Then Dad and my Sister joined in. What a celebration of hugs we had. Then I could feel others moving in to be with us. My Grandparents, Uncles and Aunts. Friends and people that had been a big part of my life were there also like the husband and wife that would take me and other children to church on a school bus every Sunday. The neighbor from up the street that taught me how to play baseball. Even the old lady across the street from where I grew up that I use to go visit and have wonderful conversations with. They were all there and down at my feet it was the animals I had loved through the years. Dogs and even a cat or two. As I moved deeper into heaven, I...
